tl;dr: A free CC0-licensed font (TTF/OTF/webfont) recreating the keycap lettering from a Central European Commodore 64, including uppercase letters, numbers, f1–f12 labels, and all 63 PETSCII graphic symbols. The glyphs are cleaned-up geometric reconstructions based on photographs of the author's own C64, not exact traces, and reproduce the printed key legends rather than the screen bitmap font. An online preview lets users insert PETSCII symbols via clickable buttons for copying into other applications.
HN Discussion: ↑Appreciation and admiration for the font's beauty and craftsmanship •Related tangents about other retro fonts, keyboards, or similar projects ↓Criticism of technical flaws like misaligned punctuation characters ~Limited usefulness due to uppercase-only and restricted character set •Questions or curiosity about the original C64 keyboard font's origins
